TRAVEL & CULTURE SALON BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The purchase of your travel booking, including paying a deposit, constitutes a contractual agreement between the traveler(s), customer(s), and/or purchaser(s) (collectively as “You” and “Traveler”), and Travel & Culture Salon, LLC (“Travel & Culture”, “We”, “Us”) pursuant to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”, “Agreement”):

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to make a travel booking with us. In the event of a travel booking for more than one (1) passenger, you as the party leader accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf all members of the party and confirms that he/she is so authorized to do so by all other members of the party. Once a travel booking is confirmed by Travel & Culture pursuant to Section 1, it is considered a confirmed trip (each, a “Trip”). All bookings are made with Travel & Culture, but we may work with agents, affiliates and/or third-party Suppliers for various services provided for or associated with each Trip.  

We may indicate that different or additional terms, conditions, guidelines, policies, or rules apply in relation to some of our services (“Supplemental Terms”). Any Supplemental Terms become part of your agreement with us if you use the applicable services, and if there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Supplemental Terms, the Supplemental Terms will control for that conflict.

We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions. The “Last Updated” date above indicates when these Terms and Conditions were last changed. If we make future changes, we may provide you with notice of such changes, such as by sending an email, providing a notice through our services, or updating the date at the top of these Terms and Conditions. Unless we say otherwise in our notice, the amended Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately, and your continued use of our services after we provide such notice will confirm your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the amended Terms and Conditions, you must immediately stop using our services. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will not apply to any dispute between you and us arising prior to the date on which we posted the updated Terms and Conditions incorporating such changes or otherwise notified you of such changes.

1. YOUR DEPOSIT

We charge a non-refundable deposit which acts as a trip planning fee and covers Travel & Culture’s committed costs. This Agreement will become effective once the following steps have been fulfilled: a) you have paid a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your travel arrangements, b) you have indicated your acceptance of this Agreement and c) Travel & Culture’s booking receipt (or confirmation invoice) has been sent to you. When you make a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept on behalf of all members of your party the terms of this agreement.

2. YOUR PAYMENT

Full payment must be made to Travel & Culture at least 30 calendar days prior to departure. Payment may be made by wire transfer or by any major credit card acceptable to us. Please note your travel arrangements may be cancelled if you fail to make payment on time and if it is, cancellation charges as set out in paragraph 5 will be payable by you.

3. YOUR TRIP PROTECTION

You will obtain travel insurance while traveling with Travel & Culture. This insurance must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, and evacuation expenses. You will provide Travel & Culture with proof of insurance and adequate coverage at least 30 calendar days prior to departure. We strongly recommended additional coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, curtailment, and for personal property. You are responsible for understanding the details of any travel insurance policy and for ensuring that such insurance provides coverage for all activities (included and optional) identified in the trip itinerary and ensuring that there are no exclusion clauses that would limit your coverage. You agree that you alone are responsible for verifying the limits and terms of your insurance policies and whether they meet Travel & Culture’s requirements.

Travel & Culture is not liable for loss, theft of or damage to baggage or personal effects; nor are damaged, lost, or stolen personal belongings subject to reimbursement by Travel & Culture’. Under no circumstances is Travel & Culture liable for loss or damage of valuables or other articles left in or on facilities used by Travel & Culture including, but not limited to, hotels, pensions, campsites, homestays, vessels, expedition vehicles, or any other location.
